Welcome Assistant Minister of Nauru Fisheries Authority Hon. Mr. Ranin Akua and the Team
Assistant Minister of the Fisheries and Marine Resources Authority from the Republic of Nauru, Hon. Ranin Akua , along with NFMRA Chairman Gordon Dageago visited Tuna Rich Aqua Farm. The Tour started with a brief introduction of the farms main office, along with an introduction of the farms products. Followed was a tour the indoor hatchery, with a detailed briefing done by our excellent Site Manager ; a feeding experience was also prepared for the guests which was one of the highlights of the day. Afterwards was a tour of the outdoor farms, with an exciting trial of Fish Catching using hand held nets. The Days event fended with the Honorable MP and Chairman enjoying a fine meal with several fresh fish proudly grown at the farm which was surely the shortest distance from ocean to the plate.
